Genesis Recovery provides substance abuse treatment to individuals who desire a new way of life. The program serves 24 medically stable male adults (18 and older) who suffer from the disease of alcohol and drug addiction. Program goals and objectives of treatment are intended to educate and support an individual through the process of recovery by focusing on the physical, emotional, legal, social and spiritual consequences of alcohol and/or other drug use.
Our Christian counselors are licensed and credentialed, and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience when treating individuals from a variety of cultures, backgrounds and addictions. All clinical staff are supervised by the Clinical Director who maintains licensure, and all staff participate in ongoing trainings, accreditations and degrees to maintain excellence in the field.
To meet the needs of residents participating in Genesis Recovery, the program offers a structured, moderate-intensity schedule five days per week (with a minimum of 20 hours of counseling), allowing ample time for exercise, community and recovery-related activities throughout the day, evening and weekends. All residents receive random drug screenings a minimum of two times per week throughout the treatment experience.
Genesis Recovery places great emphasis on the spiritual aspect of treating addiction by implementing a disciplined approach through bible study, 12-step work, prayer, meditation and church. Program components are structured in three phases, comprised of 60 days each, with the first two phases considered as the “core” of treatment and the final phase consisting of aftercare (transition and sober living).
