The Genesis Program  is blessed with a large faith-based recovery community in San Diego. By integrating residents into the 12-step and faith-based fellowships across the county the Genesis Program community offers the opportunity to connect with and receive the support from countless others on the same path to permanent sobriety.

Thanks to the welcoming and generous Christian and Recovery communities within San Diego, our residents:

  • Train one day a week at the MMA facility in San Diego
  • Participate in countless ministry opportunities at Rock Church East County
  • Attend and fulfill continued commitments at various 12-step meetings across the county
  • Participate in recovery-related events (BBQs, Speaker Meetings, Bonfires, Sporting Events, Beach Events, etc.)

While surrounded by other Christians in recovery, residents embark on a journey that restores their physical, emotional and mental health, as they grow in their spirituality. Each of the following are weekly events that our residents attend, along with many others in the San Diego Christian recovery community. All addicts, alcoholics, family and friends are welcome to join us.
